- Biological Anthropology- Osteology, forensic anthropology, skeletal trauma analysis and interpretation, paleopathology, nutritional studies.
- Archaeology- New World archaeology, Peruvian prehistory, osteoarchaeology, bioarchaeology, nutritional and skeletal effects of agriculture and sedentism.
- Medical Anthropology: Consequences of culture and socioeconomic status on nutrition and growth stunting, cultural and religious definitions of illness, poverty and healthcare, anthropology of children.
